I wanted to finally reveal the progress of these chairs. We are in the midst of recovering the seats. We began to rip off and de-staple the old chair bottoms and we found this:
SO many staples and super old/thick material to muddle through.

So, Luke just decided to build new seat bottoms himself...off to Lowes to get some particle board! Luke cut new bottoms out with a jigsaw. We adhered the foam and then the batting to the board.
Now, off to recovering...
He appears to be super fast.
Luke is a super-husband. Thanks babe!
Hopefully you will get a blog soon of the completed dinning room chairs, the Queen Anne dining bench to match the chairs that I want Luke to build (we already have the materials - just need a table saw). Updates, eh, soon? Depends on Luke :)
I Love Pip in the background with chew toy in tow. :)
