Luke and I had so much fun going to a free concert (thanks to my co-worker and 98.1 the max). It was the kick off of "Unplugged." Every month they will be featuring a local artist. Amy Lavere has Memphis roots. She just finished touring in UK and started her US tour here in Memphis. Her band is super fun/jazzy/relaxing. She plays upright bass, there is a guitarist/back up singer, and a very talented drummer. I suggest you check her out!

It was a romantic and fun date. I had never steeped foot in the Memphis Zoo and it seemed very put together. There were some Christmas lights on and I got to see the Teton Trek, which was built within the last year or so. It was really pretty, but a cold tram ride!
